In-context research + bootcamp to understand a brand’s consumer
The Challenge
A major brand wanted to build authentic shopper empathy within their teams. They turned to the bootcamp to empower their insights team with greater knowledge of their consumer and the key drivers of packaging.
The Bootcamp
For the shopper empathy portion of the experience, we conducted 2 days of in-store research where all participants were able to spend time in-context with shoppers in their categories.
After the time in-store, the team participated in a full day bootcamp. In the morning, teams experienced a Become REAL session in which they embodied and presented specific shoppers from the in-context research. In the afternoon, the teams went in-depth learning about system 1 and system 2 thinking, channel and category mindsets as well as key drivers of packaging performance.
Outcome
The client came out of the bootcamp equipped with better consumer empathy when making packaging decisions. They were grateful for their experience with the bootcamp.
