A Brand Building Bootcamp Experience 

Foundational Shopper Learnings 

The Challenge

A CPG company with multiple category-leading brands approached us with the desire to gain foundational understanding of their shoppers. They wanted to know what life was like for the shoppers and the resulting impact that has on channels, categories and packaging for their brand.  

The Bootcamp 

The bootcamp was conducted in a single 3-hour session to a team of 30 employees in the marketing department. They were led through the presentation and demonstrative exercises to gain knowledge about System 1 and System 2 thinking, and channel and category mindset. They also participated in an in-depth examination on packaging implications and broke out into small groups to complete packaging assessment activities.  

Outcome 

After the bootcamp the client was pleased with their new understanding of who shops for their products. They were empowered to bring their brand to life while keeping the shopper in mind.
